Rate requests arrive through the day by email, PDF and spreadsheet, in German, French, Italian and English. A forwarding team reads each one, re-types the shipment details into its own systems, works out a price against current tariffs and surcharges, then writes the answer back to the customer.
That groundwork is repetitive, it is done under time pressure, and it competes with the operational work of moving freight. Kazinga carries out the same steps and presents a drafted quotation for review.

Reads the request
Kazinga takes the request in the format and language it arrived in, whether that is the body of an email, a PDF attachment or a spreadsheet, in German, French, Italian or English.

Extracts the shipment details
Origin and destination, mode, dimensions, weight, timing and terms are separated out as structured fields. Details that are missing or contradictory are flagged rather than assumed.

Prices it on your own rates
Pricing follows the forwarder's own rate tables, surcharges and margin rules. The figures come from your tariffs, not from a market estimate.

Drafts the reply
A quotation is drafted in the language the customer wrote in, in the form the team already uses, ready to be read and corrected before it goes out.

Kazinga is configured, tested and operated inside the arrangements a forwarder already has. The responsibility for a quotation does not move.

Nothing is sent automatically. Kazinga prepares the quotation. The decision to send it, and the responsibility for its content, stay with your team.

Kazinga operates with the mailbox and forwarding software already in use. It does not require either to be replaced.

Before daily use, Kazinga is run against requests the forwarder has already answered, so its output can be compared against the team's own work.
CURRENT STATUS
Kazinga is a new product. There are no customer names, published results or performance figures to show yet, and none will be presented here until there are.
Our first market is independent freight forwarders in Switzerland. A demonstration is run on your own rate requests, so the output can be judged against work your team has already completed.
Kazinga takes its name from the Kazinga Channel in Uganda, the natural waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George.
